Foam Ceramic Filter Ykk Aluminum Indonesia can reduce the presence of various non-metallic inclusions in the aluminum melt, and avoid defects such as loose ingots, pores, and inclusions.
Significantly improve the mechanical properties, processing properties, fatigue resistance and erosion resistance of aluminum ingots and aluminum rods.
There are many reasons for aluminum pollution.
During the melting process, aluminum is exposed to the atmosphere in the furnace in a molten or semi-molten state, which is easily oxidized and easily reacts with water vapor. Hydrogen easily forms various forms of non-metallic slag and coarse intermetallic compound particles.
Some of the waste in the charge composition is carried into some non-aluminum impurities during the recycling process. Because the waste comes from process waste from various processes in the factory and off-site waste, the route is different, the composition is complicated, and the quality is poor.
These impurities are easy to produce bubbles and inclusions in the slab, which seriously affect the purity of the metal melt, and then affect the processing performance, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and appearance quality of the product.
Foam Ceramic Filter Ykk Aluminum Indonesia can effectively remove all kinds of inclusions in the aluminum water with a fineness to the micron level, so that the aluminum water forms a smooth laminar flow, which is good for filling.
It has good mechanical strength and chemical stability, and excellent aluminum washability; strictly control the pore size and through-hole ratio to achieve stable filtration.
The Lanik ceramic foam filter is surrounded by a sealed thermally-expandable ceramic fiber insert, which helps to seal the filter plate in the filter box to ensure that there is no metal flow.
Instructions for use of ceramic foam filter
1. Clean up debris on the surface of the filter box and keep the filter box clean.
2. Gently place the Foam Ceramic Filter into the Cff Casthouse, and press the gasket around the Foam Ceramic Filter with your hands to prevent the molten aluminum from flowing or floating.
Preheat the CFF casthouse and Foam Ceramic Filter uniformly to make it close to the temperature of the molten aluminum. The preheating temperature of Foam Ceramic Filter is not less than 260℃.
Preheating to remove the adsorbed moisture helps to open the initial filter pore size at this moment, preventing heat from rising and shrinking and blocking some holes on the Foam Ceramic Filter. Electric heating or gas heating can be used for preheating. Normal heating is 15-30 minutes.
4. During the normal filtering process, knocking and vibration of the Foam Ceramic Filter should be avoided. At the same time, the launder should be filled with molten aluminum to avoid excessive or small disturbance of the molten aluminum.
6. After the filtration is completed, remove the Foam Ceramic Filter in time and clean the CFF Casthouse.
