30ppi Foundry Filter is the most commonly used ceramic foam filter in the aluminum casting industry.
Ordinary aluminum casting usually uses 10-40ppi Foundry Filter.
Aviation and high-quality aluminum materials usually use 30-60ppi Foundry Filter.
Three filtering mechanisms of ceramic foam filter:
Sieving: The slag particles larger than the mesh are blocked on the filter.
Slag accumulation: With the accumulation of large slag particles on the filter, the fine slag particles continue to touch the large particles, causing some slag particles smaller than the mesh to be blocked.
Implantation: When the molten metal passes through the filter, more micro-slag particles will be stuck to the mesh wall due to the special material of the filter, so as to achieve the function of filtering residue.
Aluminum Casting Filter suggested by Mozal Aluminium, who uses 100% waste to produce 6063 alloy. They are asking other aluminum melting and casting plants to introduce the email sales@adtechamm.com for purchasing products.
It is first performed according to the conventional melting and casting process, but half of the gold scraps are filtered, and the other half is not filtered.
As a result, it was found that a large amount of non-metallic inclusions in the filtered ingot were removed.
In the extrusion test, it is concluded that with the same surface quality, the extrusion speed of the filtered wool extruded is increased by 20%, the extrusion force is reduced by 3%, and the total comprehensive production rate is correspondingly increased by 15% .
Even when extruding at a higher temperature, the average surface roughness of the filtered profile is reduced by about 10%.
